You know, I used to be a die hard Gibson guy (I'm an owner of 3 great Gibsons from the early and mid 90's), but this company has taken a severely radical downturn to the point where I don't see the company surviving it! The quality is questionable (84 explorer reissue anyone), the new designs leave me wondering what the hell the designers are thinking as 99% are hideous, and all the rest of the releases are just rehashes or extremely overpriced replicas (In this case I'd rather buy a vintage Les Paul than pay 15,000 for a new one that's been beat by a craftsman)! Hey Gibson, instead of worrying about a guitar that can tune itself, why don't you worry about what your competitors are doing and build guitars THAT ACTUALLY PLAY WELL AND SOUND GREAT! At this point, I'll take an ESP over anything Gibson conceives! Oh yeah, I'll take some of whatever your designers are smoking!
