I've never played a Tribute model but they do use the same pickups and hardware as the USA versions. I have seen a few right handed Tributes and they seemed well built, better than Mexican made...

G&L Bluesboys that is. I got my first G&L in late 2007 early/ 2008 from Wolfe Guitars in Florida. The reason I ordered a G&L after being a Fender player for about 25 years was simple, I wanted a tele...

Nice ! Love the natural wood. Is it a satin finish ?
It's like anything else, you get used to it. I remember when I ordered it in the shop, there was a choice of black, wine red or cherry burst in the Standards. I'm not a big fan of black guitars and...
Thanks. Active pickups were in fashion in the '90s, not so much these days I suppose. I did get a set of pickups a while back and thought about putting them into it, but the Shadows are in there so...

Agreed.
Can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear :D
The type of sound an electric produces depends a lot on the pickups, of the Heritages pictured only one has stock factory pickups, the black 157 which has Schallers. I was planning to change them to...
Yes Heritage guitars are still in production, and most of what they make is exported. The sound is very similar to a Gibson, although in my opinion a lot of that depends on the pickups.
